The Gravity of God's Love

As I was thinking and praying about what I'd write for my first blog, God laid on my heart through a sermon to talk about the vastness of God's love. The sermon was on Ephesians 3:14-21 and in my Bible this passage is titled, "Prayer for Spiritual Strength." Paul is writing to the church in Ephesus, and he shares his prayers for the Ephesians, which was that they'd be reminded of the depth of Christ's love towards them. Also, Paul reminds them how insanely powerful God is in all circumstances and that God is able to do far more abundantly than they could have ever asked or thought. I too want to echo Paul's prayer for you all. Do not go about the rest of your day without really pondering and resting in the steadfast love of the Lord. I challenge you to be vulnerable with God and ask Him to reveal to you how deep His love is. He delights in our abiding. Watch as Jesus demonstrates to you His unconditional, steadfast love, and you will come to find it will radically change how you view the Lord and how intern you live your life. Walk in the freedom of Jesus Christ's love. It is a love that sacrifices itself so that you may enter into a fulfilling relationship with God and receive the gift of salvation and everlasting life. Praise the Lord for He delights in how He purposefully designed you. Praise Jesus for He died the death we all deserve, because of our unrighteousness, and He miraculously rose again defeating death and now we have the hope of spending an eternity with our precious Lord in Heaven. Amen!

May the Lord bless you and keep you  Love Maja

"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:14-21 (ESV)
